Sinnissippi Solar Farm
The Sinnissippi Solar Farm is an opportunity to boost the local economy of Jefferson County and create jobs, all while generating clean, American made energy to meet Wisconsin's growing electricity demand.
This project will be located on approximately 2,100 acres within Jefferson County, WI.
Solar is the new cash crop for farmers and ranchers. Lease payments provide a steady stream of income.
At peak construction, the Sinnissippi Solar Farm is expected to employ as many as 500 people. After construction, the project will employ 5-10 additional permanent operations and maintenance (O&M) staff.
More than $3 million annually in landowner payments, tax payments, and local spending and salaries. Over the life of the project over $110 million will be invested in the community.
